Changed our 13-yo conventional door lock to HomeSecure’s Aetos system last weekend. After using it for a few days, i thought to myself — i should have done this months/years ago!

Product (HomeSecure Aetos) - Well-designed and versatile. There are 4-ways to enter — fingerprint (most convenient), RFID card, passcode and master key. Mobile app (TTLock) is very intuitive and user-friendly — you can easily add/delete users and configure them for permanent or temporary (time-bound) access. There’s an audit feature that keeps track of the access events (complete with names and timestamps). Charging is very easy — plug it in like a mobile phone. It also comes with a 1-yr warranty (product and service) which I hope I won’t be needing.

Service - Competent and professional. Our assigned installer (Jervil) came 30 minutes earlier than the agreed schedule. He assessed the current setup thoroughly and made sure the Aetos system would fit the door prior to starting the installation process. We ran into a problem with the first unit, but their tech team was quick to help with the isolation (i missed getting the name of the other guy who went onsite) and a replacement unit was immediately sent after the problem was identified. Jervil was also very familiar with the setup of the unit, both the hardware and the mobile app. Post-installation support was also excellent as as Maricel was quick to assist me when I thought the unit was not charging (user error).

Overall, the experience has been great and I wouldn’t think twice about recommending it to my relatives and friends.

What could be better? — I just hope that the unit connected to our home wifi network so I can control/program it using the mobile app remotely.
